At GSDIT, receiving testimonials is one of the highlights of working as a small business. Without a doubt, most people will agree that it is incredibly exciting to receive positive feedback from your customers.
Not only is it a way to gauge what your customers think about your performance, but also which parts of the services you provide are most imortant to them. Besides, who doesn’t like receiving praise for the hard work your team has done? It’s a great way to boost the team’s morale and remind your employees that their hard work is indispensible and valued by our clients.
Testimonials are a wonderful gift, and we are very grateful to have received an overwhelmingly positive one written by the lovely Rebecca, from Select English in Cambridge. It was too long to include on our front page, so we thought it ought to have its own blog post!
“I started to work with Backup Data Limited (now gsdIT) in summer 2017. We have a support contract which is both comprehensive and affordable. I know if I ever need anything, I can call and it will get resolved quickly and efficiently. The support covers 5 school buildings and 6 boarding houses in central Cambridge.
Since starting to work with gsdit, we have worked on several projects, large and small starting with an email migration of 150 staff to Office 365. This was an extremely well planned and streamlined process and once complete, I am happy to say that not one email was lost. There is also a straightforward process for buying education licences through a portal which makes life easy.
At the end of summer 2019, we moved our 4 servers from a data centre in Huntingdon back to our school site. This was extremely well-planned by Alex and all went smoothly with only a couple of hours of downtime.
We have since done several server migrations and Alex has virtualised our server environment. We are now preparing the servers for the installation of a new school database. We use the K7 Enterprise antivirus which is easy to install and offers a high level of protection.
Alex is meticulous in his planning and this means that every project we work on is carried out with precision. I have every faith in Alex that every project we work will be a success not only reducing my stress levels but also keeping everything functioning perfectly for our staff.”
